Prepare before adding throttle

Walk the aircraft while it is stationary. Use a short call such as “wing ice, scraper requested” or “power, wrench requested.” If the prompt does not name a tool, follow its marker or labeled equipment and avoid guessing. Current community instructions may become stale during beta.

Take a screenshot of an unfamiliar warning after the flight if possible. That creates better evidence than trying to reconstruct it from memory.

Handle freezing wings

Handle a power outage

Confirm recovery

Do not stop when the animation looks finished. Look for the warning to clear, the objective to advance, the visual state to change, or another explicit confirmation. Report “clear” only then. Return tools if the game requires it and move out of narrow work areas.

The pilot should verify that controls and heading feel normal. The crew can then resume passenger care and landing preparation. If the destination is close, skip optional tasks and focus on a stable approach.

Troubleshoot a failed repair

Check the warning text again. Confirm the correct tool is equipped and the correct target is active. Approach from another angle and wait for the interaction prompt. Make sure another player is not occupying or resetting the same interaction.

If the event persists, let one player retry rather than rotating the entire crew. A beta bug, connection delay, or changed mechanic may be involved. Capture the prompt and report it through the official community. Do not publish a speculative extra step as fact.
