Bumpy Flight storms can combine difficult flying with a repair prompt. Current walkthroughs report engine trouble that a support player addresses with a wrench at an affected engine or wing area while the pilot keeps the aircraft under control. The official page confirms emergencies generally but does not publish this as a permanent procedure, so read the live warning before acting.

Two-person response: pilot stabilizes and calls maneuvers; engineer reads the event, gets the named tool, repairs the marked target, confirms clear, and returns before the approach.

Separate weather from repair instructions

A storm visual does not automatically mean the same engine event every time. Read the warning and current objective. It may ask the pilot to manage unstable flight, direct another player to damage, or present a different target. Name the text to the crew rather than saying only “storm.”

If the prompt identifies an engine, wing, or tool, repeat it: “right engine, wrench.” If it describes turbulence without a repair, support players should remain ready but not guess at panels. The active game state is stronger evidence than an older walkthrough.

This distinction prevents a runner from wasting time on a wrench while the actual task is controlling the aircraft or assisting a passenger.

Pilot through the disturbance

Use small corrections and avoid chasing every movement. Official keyboard controls use W/S for pitch, A/D for turning, Shift for more throttle, and Ctrl for less. Release an input and observe the response before applying the opposite correction. Holding several controls can make the aircraft oscillate.

Protect a stable heading and reasonable attitude before optimizing the route. Announce a turn or throttle change to the engineer, especially if they must move toward a wing area. Do not leave the control position during co-op.

If the destination is visible, resist a rushed descent. Resolve the active warning, regain predictable control, and then plan the approach with enough distance for small alignment changes.

Assign one engineer

The engineer owns the repair from warning to confirmation. Other support players keep passengers managed and the route open. One recent walkthrough reports a wrench used on the affected engine or wing. Obtain the tool named by your prompt from the current supply location.

Before takeoff, locate the tool or terminal and identify how to reach repair areas on the selected aircraft. Do not assume every plane has the identical interior or access point. A crew switching aircraft should perform a new walk-through.

The engineer announces “moving” once they understand the target. This stops another player from duplicating the trip.

Complete the repair

Follow the current marker or damage indicator. Equip the requested tool and approach until the interaction prompt appears. Hold or repeat the action only as instructed by the interface. Stay on the target until a warning, progress bar, or objective confirms completion.

Avoid switching tools based on an unverified item list. If a wrench is not named or available, inspect the live event again. The beta can change its steps.

Report “engine clear” after the explicit signal. If damage visuals remain but the objective clears, follow the game state. If the visual clears while the warning remains, keep checking the active target rather than assuming success.

Manage cabin work during a storm

Cabin support continues to watch passengers but should not block the engineer. Address urgent clear requests when safe, and postpone ordinary movement if the aircraft is unstable or the aisle is crowded. Tell the pilot about unresolved passenger issues without demanding that they leave the controls.

With only two players, the support player handles the engine warning before returning to an ordinary food or water request, unless the game presents a different urgent priority. In solo play, stabilize first and perform only the required repair steps.

Short messages work best: “repairing,” “halfway,” “clear,” and “cabin pending.”

Re-establish normal flight

After the warning clears, the engineer returns to a safe interior position. The pilot checks heading, pitch response, throttle, and destination guidance. Make one correction at a time. Cabin support then resolves pending requests.

Begin landing only after the aircraft is controllable and generally aligned. A current walkthrough describes a Landing Assist cue, but it should not encourage violent last-second turns. Use a wider approach if the storm displaced the plane.

Wait for the normal flight result after touchdown. A repaired engine does not guarantee completion if the aircraft crashes before the landing is accepted.

Solo storm and repair plan

Learn the wrench or terminal route while grounded. During the event, make the flight stable and note your heading. Leave the controls for the shortest required interaction and return if the aircraft begins drifting. Do not collect optional supplies or answer a noncritical request on the same trip.

If the storm makes the plane too unstable to leave, prioritize regaining control. No public source reviewed establishes a universal event timer, so the safe choice is to respond promptly without sacrificing immediate control.

Troubleshoot a repair that will not finish

Read the warning again and verify the correct target side. Confirm the tool is equipped. Move away and approach from a clear angle. Ask other players to leave the interaction area. Watch for a hold indicator rather than tapping when the game expects a continuous action.

If the marker moves or the event changes, follow the new state. If the prompt remains impossible after one clean retry, record it and consider another official server. Do not repeatedly buy supplies without evidence that the item was consumed.

  • Treating every storm as the same repair event.
  • The pilot fetching the wrench during co-op.
  • Several engineers crowding one engine.
  • Ignoring the live target side or marker.
  • Saying the repair is done before the warning clears.
  • Starting a steep approach while still unstable.
